After weeks and weeks of waiting...


...my compost is now DIRT.

and now (*insert evil laugh here*), now, I PLANT VEGETABLES, my children!!!

I never added any worms and now I have OMGWORMS. They found my bin and decided colonize :) Now when I sift a batch I carefully pick out as many worms as I can and put them into the fresh batch to keep the colony going...

Is that not the most amazing thing? I am on at least my 4th. maybe 5th batch of compost so far and I am still not over the fact that I put in GARBAGE and get out DIRT. Watching things rot is So. Much. Fun.
