rightkindofme gave me "P"
Comment and I'll give you a letter. Then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. After, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.
Pottery: especially that handmade sort of stoneware. Makes great chalices and bowls and tea mugs and feels SOLID.
Pottymouth: But it has to be clever pottymouthing. Dropping F-bombs whenever just cause you can is not okay. George Carlin is an excellent example of a clever pottymouth. Pottymouthing also can relieve stress in addition to amusing me. Sometimes both at once.
Plumeria, discovered by me when on vacation on Mau'i, love this scent, wish I'd gone ahead and bought a plumeria root to try to grow at home. Have some lotion and some oil perfume; it's just strong.
Peacock feathers, symbol of Hera, goddess of marriage and fidelity; and for me, one general symbol for Hellenic paganism.
Polyamory, a concept that might potentially relieve a shitload of norteamericano Puritannical relationship and sex-related bullshit and damage. Has potential to harm or heal, a new relationship paradigm. Fascinating concept to explore.
Pleasure, (do I really need to say more?)
Pleasant company, (again)
Physical labor, rewarding to see the end result of working hard and feels great to have that slight ache in my body from doing hard work.
Psychotherapy, which turns out I didn't need TOO much, was nonetheless very helpful in reorienting my schema, self-esteem, and attitudes when ending my last major relationship.
Phase of the moon: Both as a symbol for the womanly cycles and in its real life splendor. I love the full of the moon and I love the dark slim crescent, both with and without earthshine; I love exploring the repercussions of moonphase in the magical part of my life.
and I'm tired now, so I'll go to bed. I will randomly assign letters to them what ask for one.
'Night LJ land...
Details to follow.

oh, why not?

Re: oh, why not?
2. Moving. Despite my total inertia, once I actually get moving (hiking, dancing, running) it feels really good.
3. Music! This is extremely broad, so I will also say the musical group Morphine. I'm sure morphine the drug is good too, but I have no firsthand knowlege of it.
4. Moss. I like green things that grow where it's cold, dank and wet. Big fan of ivy and ferns as well. Moss on a stone, a wall, or a sculpture is particularly groovy. "Alone, alone, upon a mossy stone, I sit and (something something) the dead and gone."
5. Mint, fresh. I like to chew it. I like it in cocktails. I like to add mint essential oil to body sprays with rose and vanilla. Peppermint patties also good.
6. Motor vehicles. Okay, I know they've created lots of ills, but goddamn do I love my car. Car=freedom. That's just the way it is. Is there anything finer than getting out there on a clear, sunny day, someplace gorgeous like Hwy 1, no other traffic, stereo blasting, feeling like you're about to blast off and explode into tiny sparkling fragments expanding to merge with the sun, and the sky, and the waves below? Maybe that's just me.
7. Macaroni and cheese. Specifically the kind of cheese that comes in the orange powder form. I can not fucking STAND the cheese that comes creamy in the package. That is unnatural and WRONG and tastes like I imagine melted wax would do if it could be both melted and room temperature at the same time. Sometimes Mac and cheese in front of the tube is just the awesomest.
8. Mentors
9. Motivation, would that I had more of it.
10. Meerkat Manor. Okay, that's a total lie, as I have never even seen that show, but if we were playing Scattergories I'd get *two* points. Dork!

I like how this meme gets people telling itty bitty stories.
