We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious. Not in a bad way, but in a 'Wow! I wish I had that person's hair/eyes/money/relationship/toenails/whatever.'

I envy your job. Or more specificaly, your ability to find and secure employment. I've determined that I won't really be employable for quite some time due to childcare costs and then lack of recent work experience.

I lucked out - major networking luck to find a job that hadnt actually been posted, and then I got to be my own enthusiastic weirdo self at the interview and the principal liked that - whoda thunk, for a drama teacher! and yeah. Lucky for sure.

go after a job that you really want to do. Definitely. that's how to get the best job karma ever.
