The best part of having an IUD is not-bleeding every four weeks. And it's BEEN great, almost without fail, for almost three and a half years.
Today however, it feels like a year's worth of menstrual cramps are trying to happen in one afternoon/evening.
I didn't even realize that I've been clenching my belly muscles all day till now, when I'm in the tub, and am having to notice, release. Notice I'm clenched, then release.
I love my life, and today was a delightful vacation day for Jeff and we played hooky and drove to the coast,found some wine tastings and DELICIOUS food, and I got to put my feet in the ocean.
But this? Shit, I've forgotten how awful this baloney always was.
Gonna soak another ten minutes and then try again to get to sleep.
Oy.
