ow. urk. (100 things, #71)

my body REALLY does not like that I have been moving not-much for the last six days.

muscles are sore, joints are stiff. digestion and appetite aren't as robust as usual.

I Do Not Like This. Long walk tomorrow, yoga tomorrow afternoon. Resume workout on Wednesday.

...
damn.
Body be holding me accountable for the workouts.   ...not what I expected.

(why I not expected it, I dunno, I should have)

Turns out, good habits can be addictive too.

Yup. And the body gets used to them and complains like nicotine withdrawal, without the healthy habits.

It's good for me to note this. The body reminds you... And the body WANTS to be moving!

It's a reward system! Body rewards you for being good to it.

Speaking of...looks like I'll be joining the JCC, possibly today. I'm going to head down there and see if I can manage to talk them into a vaguely reasonable cost. I've been thinking about it since we went, and then Tuesday my midwife said she wanted me swimming regularly for my exercise (without me having even mentioned my love of water).

So yay! Come work out with me? I'm going to focus on the swimming part, but also want to use other parts of the gym for now.
