THIS is from the comic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. They will break your mind, sometimes in good ways.

SO TRUE!!! I've started over again, at the age of 34 I'm back at uni, learning more, making my dreams come true. Why settle for a mind-numbing dull job where one can feel the soul slowly die because one's afraid to jump into the unknown? Not me, never again!

Yay for starting over!!

This strip has resonated so hard with me because I am struggling to find out what the next life is... clinging too hard to the old one.

That’s the most difficult thing, to find out what’s the right thing to jump for…

I knew I wanted to go back to uni but tried another path first that turned out to be wrong, so I changed again. Every now and then I remind myself "It is never too late to change my life".

Before I quit my well-paid job I had many discussions with myself whether it was sane to risk all comfort I had given the salary and safety of a full-time permanent job to go back to uni with poor financial situation and an uncertain labor market when I’m finished if I manage reach my goal to and finish. And the answer kept being YES! Cause I felt so dead doing what I did. But it wasn’t an easy decision and sometimes I still can feel a bit nauseated over my decision, but at the same time and all other time I feel so very very happy.

I'm doing something very similar, and this strip resonated with me in much the same way. :-)

:) It's both scary and so very good, isn't it?

I'm curious, please share what you have changed. That is, if you want to, of course :)

Back in school, studying what I always wanted to study, because I was out of a job and my life wasn't going anywhere and one day I went "fuck it, why don't I do something fun?" Still don't know if I'm going to stick with it or just try something else next, but either way I have prospects that are more interesting than I was facing before.

Sounds very sensible to me. Better doing something one feels good about doing rather than just following the expected mundane routine. And education is never wasted, if nothing else one grows as a person. Best of luck!
