Had another odd thought tonight:

My dad would've LOVED smartphones. All the maps you could ever need?
All the possible strategy games? Probably download a bunch of chess apps...
And of course, he would have learned as much as he could about how things worked so he could be like all "expert" and teach other people about them...

huh.
haven't thought about him in that way ... probably since he died.

i lost my mother almost 11 yrs ago... and thoughts like that go thru my mind too.

I don't think my dad would have paid enough attention to technology progressing to know that smart phones could be useful, but my step dad would have had one they day they came out, and kept upgrading as they went, learning all of the possibilities along the way. I miss them both.
