I love to learn new things. Currently wanting to bake and cook with more skill! I love to dance, do yoga, and hike, and I've been seriously working out again over the last 7 years. I love to partner dance and ecstatic dance. Gender of dance partners/dance friends is irrelevant. Have been writing fiction, and blogging more regularly. Also I like to Make Things from Other Things. i am deeply unhappy with the real name policy being foisted upon us by OKC management: after FOURTEEN YEARS of loyalty and recommending them to other people, I had to take a year off. That real name policy was some kind of bullshittery.

I love to make things. Balance has become very important in my life. I do few things to excess anymore. Not booze, eating, or interpersonal drama.
favorite things:
Sashimi. Curry. Seafood. Filet mignon when I can get it. Fresh salad from the garden. Omelets stuffed deliciously. Love to cook, love to eat! Red wine: Love it. Youtube: Totally in love with Vi Hart's brains. Her manic math-concept videos are just the most amazing things! (Go check her out at vihart.com!) Also Veritasium is pretty cool and tickles my science brain. Comics: Recently became a heavy fan of Check, Please! which is a multiplatform webcomic with incredibly good art and fascinating storytelling technique. Adore Girl Genius and Tatsuya Ishida's Sinfest and have for years. Matt Fraction and David Aja made me fall in love with Hawkeye all over again. Sponsored the kickstarter for Ursula Vernon and her engineering wombat Digger.
